Long weekend - BC Family Day
Drei Tage regulär frei statt nur zwei Tage Wochenende wären großartig, aber bis dahin wird es wohl noch ein paar Jahre dauern, wenn überhaupt. Die letzten drei bzw. vier Tage ging es ins Kino, habe Essen vorbereitet, habe entspannt, wurde zum Frühstück eingeladen und wir haben unsere nächste Reise geplant. Der extra Tag startete spät, brachte aber ein sonnigen Spaziergang.

A weekend with many little things, we went to the cinema, I prepared food for a couple days, I’ve been lazy, I got invited for breakfast, spent time to read and preparing the next trip. For the extra day we slept-in, we called a friend and made a walk around the Stanley Park.
10. Februar
Jug Island
Unsere erste Wanderung dieses Jahr mit ungefähr 5.25 km ging es auf und ab bis nach Jug Island, eine kleine Insel mitten im Wasser. Der Weg dort hin war nicht zu lang und nicht all zu schwer.

For the first hike in this year we chose a not too difficult one, with only around 5.25 k roundtrip we went trough the typical Canadian forest.

Ein bisschen Vitamin D
Der gefühlt erste Tag des Jahres, wo es nicht regnet oder bewölkt ist. Mit Eiscreme und einem strahlend blauen Himmel mit Blick auf die Skyline, hatten wir einen schönen Nachmittag.

Our first sunny day, together we got an ice creme by Earnest Ice Cream in North Van and enjoyed the sunny day.

Snowy morning
Unser dritter Schnee dieses Jahr, dieses mal hielt es nicht so lange an wie drei Wochen zuvor, trotzdem deutlich schöner in den Tag zu starten als sonst.

Our third snow this year, it didn’t keep snowing all day but it was nice to get up in the morning.
