Mein Blog bzw. meine Website ist nun seit über 7 Jahren online und meine jüngste Änderung ist die neue Fotogalerie, die ich erst gestern Abend hinzugefügt habe. Dafür muss ich noch einige Fotos hinzufügen sowie weitere Anpassungen vornehmen, während meine Website online ist.
Seit bitte also nicht verwirrt, wenn etwas nicht richtig aussieht oder keinen Sinn ergibt. Ich werde von Zeit zu Zeit weitere Anpassungen vornehmen und es macht mir nichts aus, wenn etwas im Moment noch nicht ganz fertig ist. Dieser Blog und die gesamte Website sind ein laufendes Projekt und wenn etwas noch nicht fertig ist, bin ich wahrscheinlich mit etwas Wichtigerem beschäftigt ;-)

My blog resp. my website is now online since over 7 years and my most recents change is the new photo gallery I just added last night. Therefor I still need to add some photos as well as making more adjustment while my website online.
So don't get confused if something doesn't look properly or doesn't make sense. I will make more adjustment time by time and I don't mind if something looks odd at the moment. This blog and website is an ongoing project and if there something not done by now I'm probably busy with something more important. ;-)

No wifi at home as well as no data left on my phone ... :D. Without internet it's not really fun to use either the phone or the laptop. Hopefully by tomorrow the provider will fix the issue.

Nach langem mal wieder eine Tuetensuppe, lecker war es. Ich kann es kaum abwarten wieder japanisches Curry zu essen, zu gut!

I keep going where I stopped
Nach dem ich vor 2 Jahren angefangen habe Dias einzuscannen, mache ich nun nahtlos weiter. Scheinbar habe ich im Jahr 2000 aufgehoert, ist also noch ein wenig zu scannen.

Hello again
Meine juengere Schwester kuemmert sich nun schon seit ueber 5 Jahren merhmals jede Woche um Hasen bei einem naechst gelegem Bauern. Fuer mich war es nach langer Zeit schoen zusehen welcher Hase noch da ist, ob es neue gibt und konnte auch gleich mit fuettern.
Nach dem Stadtleben in Vancouver, nimmt man das Landleben wieder gerne wahr. Alles ist es etwas ruhiger und langsamer.

My younger sister has been looking after rabbits at a nearby farmer's every week for over 5 years now. After a long time it was nice for me to see which rabbits were still there, whether there were any new ones and I could also feed them.
After the busy life in Vancouver, it's nice to experience country life again. Everything is a bit more quiet and slow.

So green already
Ich bin zum Grillen eingeladen worden und habe auf dem Weg dorthin eine kleine Umleitung entlang der Ruhr gemacht. Mein Fahrrad ist noch in Japan aber da wir mehr als eins in der Garage haben konnte ich ein bisschen radeln. Man merkt erstmal wie gruen es hier schon ist, in Vancouver oder Calgary ist es noch nicht soweit.
Liegt vermutlich hier am vielen Regen.

I was invited to a barbecue and took a little detour along the Ruhr river on the way there. My bike is still in Japan but as we have more than one in the garage I was able to cycle a bit. I realized how green it is here already, in Vancouver or Calgary it's not that green yet.
It's probably because of all the rain here, everyone is complaining about it. :D

Da geht es weiter
Ich habe nun eine gute 10 stuendige Busfahrt vor mir, zum Glueck gibts Wlan und anscheinend genug Platz im Bus um sich es zum Schlafen gemuetlich zu machen. Mal sehen wie es wird.
Der Flug und die Anreise nach Paris von Calgary aus war mit 8 Stunden verhaeltnismaessig schnell und unkompliziert. Die paar Stunden die ich heute noch in Paris hatte, habe ich entspannt im Zentrum verbracht ohne mich viel mit Koffer und Kissen zu bewegen.
Um 21:30 Uhr war abreise an dem wunderschoenen Busbahnhof ;D.

I left at 9:30 pm at the beautiful bus station ;D.

Time to go home
Nach nun knapp vier Monaten hier in Kanada geht es nach Hause. Ich haette noch laenger bleiben koennen, aber irgendwann ist es halt an der Zeit. Wer weiss wann und ob es ueberhaupt nochmal zurueck geht, es war definitiv schoen wieder hier zu sein!
Fuer die naechste Reise gibt es einen neuen Koffer, unten am Rand ist der Koffer schon gebrochen, einer der vier Raeder fehlt schon und ein weiteres ist schon so schief das es sich ins Plastik drueckt.
