Terra Nouveau
Heute Abend ging es auf eine Art Gallery von ehemaligen Arbeitskollegen. Wenn ich Fotos hätte würde ich sie zeigen. Ein mix aus Videoschnitt, Malerei und Buchdruck war ein kleine gemütliche Ausstellung. Und dazu gut besucht.

A few of my old co-worker were arranging a small art gallery in downtown. As part of an art studio we saw paintings, video editing and letterpress art. With music, art and drinks we spent the whole night at the gallery.

Flea Market
Das erste mal hier in Vancouver war ich auf dem lokalen Flohmarkt, mit ein paar Freunden schlenderten wir durch die Stände. Der Markt selber ist in einer alten Lagerhalle, wo man nicht auf das Wetter angewiesen ist. Von alten gebrauchten Sachen, Sammlerstücke und auch neuere Waren war alles dabei. Was gefunden oder gekauft haben wir nicht. Im anschluss gab es noch eine Kleinigkeit für den Magen, ansonsten haben wir den ersteren wärmeren Tag genossen.

I've been my first time on the Vancouver flea market, I went with a couple friends to stroll over the market. The market is located in an old warehouse, the booths were showing from used stuff, collector's items or newer stuff. We or I didn't buy nothing. After we've been trough the market we got late lunch and enjoyed the weather, the spring has started.

Tom Yam
Es wird fischig, unser Mitbewohners ehemaliger Arbeitskollege ist Koch und hat uns heute Abend Tom Yam zubereitet. Tom Yam ist ein thailändisches Gericht welches aus einer Brühe, die mit Fisch, Gemüse und Nudeln gekocht wird, je nach Geschmack variabel. Es war lecker aber total anders was ich bisher kenne, ebenfalls scharf im Abgang.

Biking
Das erste mal auf dem Fahrrad dieses Jahr, nach dem ich einen meiner Reifen geflickt habe konnte ich bei gutem Wetter das erste mal dieses Jahr aufs Rennrad. So ging es heute nach Westen den Strand entlang bis kurz vor beginn des Universitätsgelände. Bei Gelegenheit kann ich mein Fahrrad mal putzen.
