We are moving
Wir ziehen um, wir konnten heute vormittag den Mietvertrag unterschrieben! Am 15sten Juni können wir dann in unser kleines Häuschen, von meinem bisherigen Plätzchen geht weiter nach Nordosten der Stadt - Hasting Sunrise heißt unser neues Viertel. Bis es soweit ist müssen wir noch das eine oder andere besorgen und erledigen, von eigenem Bett bis zum Strom anmelden ist alles noch auf unserer Liste. Wir können schon ab dem 2 Juni ins Haus um das eine oder zu vermessen, vorzubereiten und die einen oder andere Sachen rüberzubringen.

We are moving, we got the message from the realtor on Friday and we made an appointment to sign the contract today! The date we can move is in mid of June which gives us still a bit time to prepare the moving and to do all the stuff you have to do.

Sunset - English Bay
Ein schöner Abend am Strand nach der Arbeit, da es immer wärmer und wärmer wird lässt es sich gut bis spät abends am Strand aushalten. Bis es dann doch noch später angefangen hat zu regnen!

A beautiful night at English Bay beach, it gets warmer and warmer which gives us the opportunity to hang out at the beach and to enjoy the sunset over the ocean. How it has to be here in Vancouver, it had to start to rain at night.

Bowling
Uff, ich weiß gar nicht mehr wann ich das letzte mal Kegeln war, ist schon ein wenig her… Mit ein paar unserer Arbeitskollegen ging es zum Commercial Drive wo unser Manager für uns zwei Bahnen gemietet hatte. Nach gut zwei Stunden war ich mehr als überraschend Punktbester und hatte die meisten Kegeln abgeräumt. Ein paar Tage später gab es sogar ein Pokal :D mein Chef hatte den bei Amazon noch bestellt, die Siegerehrung war dann bei unserer Mittagspause.

It’s been a while I’ve been bowling, the last time must be back home with my friends, anyway this time my I went with my coworker. We went to place on Commercial Drive where we got two lanes for around 2 hours. At the end I was surprisingly the best, it wasn’t a competition but it was fun. A few days later my manager ordered a trophy and I got while we had lunch the trophy for this great result. :D

Steveston - bike ride
Mein zweites mal in Steveston, dieses mal mit dem Fahrrad. Da das Wetter die letzten Tage überragend war ging es heute auf eine kleine Runde über Richmond runter nach Steveston.

Another bike ride, this time I went to Steveston in Richmond. It was very easy and it went along the coast with nice view of the ocean. It was kind of crowded, I wasn’t the only one on the bike and in Steveston was it very busy!

2nd place
Häuschen Nummer 2 wieder ein Laneway-House mit etwa 75m2, es war definitv größer und deutlicher besser aufgeteilt. Hier auch 3 Zimmer, Dining und Livingroom plus zwei Badezimmer. Was ganz gut ist Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind mit im Preis inlcuded. Wir werden uns um das Häuschen bewerben ob wir es dann auch bekommen werden wir sehen, wir waren nicht die einzigen die sich es angeguckt haben, so Daumen drücken und abwarten.

Second place we visited, again a laneway house, also three bedrooms, dining/living room and two bathrooms. It was much better as the first place we saw, the rooms a bigger, the neighborhood is quiet and it’s a pretty good place to reach to work. We gonna plan apply for this spot if we gonna get it we will see, would be great.

House viewing
Es wird langsam Zeit für eine bleibe, zusammen mit zwei meiner Mitbewohner suchen wir ein Apartment nur für uns. Im Haus momentan sind viele neue Gesichter und für mich ist ein kleiner Ortswechsel auch schön! So habe wir uns ein kleines Laneway-House angeschaut, mit drei Zimmer, Küche/Wohnzimmer und zwei Bäder. Im großen und ganzen war es in Ordnung aber doch ein wenig klein knapp 60 m2 hatte das Häuschen.Es war das erste aber wird nicht das letzte was wir uns anschauen.

It will be time to move out on my current place, I’m at my place since I arrived in Canada and I’m looking for a not so crowed place we are right now 7 tenants plus probably more. So we two of roommates and me found a small laneway house in east van, we visited the place it was nice but for three people it is too small, it can work but we wanna look for other places.
