This blog began with a work-and-holiday year in Canada in 2017. After three years on the West Pacific coast in Vancouver, I spent some time back home in Germany, followed by a year in Japan and a short intermezzo in New Zealand. In 2024, I returned to Japan — which has since become my chosen home.

Visiting a flea market
Wir waren auf dem Flohmarkt in Bochum am Ruhrpark, wo man von neuen Sachen bis gebrauchten Dingen so einiges sehen kann.

With a mix of new and used stuff we visited a flew market in Bochum. From clothes, decoration, toys, furniture and food you could find everything. On almost every flea market you can find a barbecue where you can eat a sausage with a bun, kinda typical German.
