Hi, I’m Florian!
An ordinary habitat of the planet earth. Enjoying to be here with less words but with my camera capturing my view on moments in my life.

I was born and raised in Germany and originally followed a pretty straightforward path — education, agency work, full-time job — until life sent me in a new direction. After unexpectedly leaving a position I thought I’d stay in much longer, I took the chance to go abroad. One door closed, another opened — in my case, quite literally the door of a plane heading to Canada.
What started as a one-year Work & Holiday stay on the Canadian West Coast turned into three enriching years living and working in Vancouver. It’s not the most beautiful city at first glance, but its mix of nature, culture, and creative energy made it one of the most formative times of my life. I worked as a graphic designer, explored new ideas, met people from around the world — and slowly began to see things from a broader perspective.
After returning to Germany in 2020 due to the pandemic, I eventually continued my journey east. In 2022, I relocated to Japan — a move shaped by both personal and professional reasons, and a shared decision with my partner whom I met during my time in Canada. It’s where we’ve made our home since.
This website brings together parts of that path: my professional design work, photography, and a blog that started as a way to stay connected with friends and family but grew into a place to share everyday impressions, places, and creative thoughts.
